July Prayer Guide

Join us in praying for our church and our mission partners this month! We encourage all our Community Groups and Discipleship Groups to set some extra time aside at one meeting this month to pray.

Pray for our church:

  • Pray through a portion of our church covenant
    • Ask that God would enable us to embody this portion of our church covenant: We will support the testimony of our church by living godly lives, by loving our neighbors, and by developing Christ-centered homes.
  • Pray for our leaders
    • For one of our staff members - Willie Padgett (Pastor for Corporate Worship)
    • For one of our lay elders - Mike Terning
    • For one of our deacons - Katie Brewer (Scheduling)
  • Pray for 2 Services
    • Pray the Lord would give us unity as we move to two services and would give us fruitfulness as we seek to reach our neighbors with "an open seat" that the 2 services will provide.

Pray for our mission partners:

North American Mission Board

Two powerful earthquakes struck near Venezuela’s north-central coast on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, causing extensive damage in and around the capital, Caracas. Buildings collapsed, families were displaced, and thousands of people are now facing the difficult road to recovery. In the midst of this tragedy, local churches responded immediately. Please pray for the safety of everyone in Venezuela and for them to see the light of Christ during this time.

King's Hill Church

Pray for King's Hill Church as they are in the midst of their summer rhythms. With weekly groups not meeting and a slower pace, pray that their congregation and leadership would take advantage of this time to rest and be rejuvenated in the Lord before they enter a busy season this fall. Pray that visitors would find the church this month and be drawn to their desire to rest in Christ.

International Mission Board

Pray for the Green Mountain Arabs of North Africa, like Hamza, who is from a remote village but has moved to a city to attend a university. He dreams of being a doctor or a nurse — or maybe even immigrating to a country where he would have more opportunities. Recently, while at a gym, he met a believer, and they struck up a friendship. Hamza’s new friend has shared some Bible stories with him, and their friendship continues to grow. Pray that as their friendship develops, Hamza will be open to hearing the truth and have an opportunity to respond. Pray that he, and other Green Mountain Arabs, will be interested in reading the Word and desire to hear more stories about Jesus. “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock” (Matthew 7:24 ESV).

IMB Missionaries "Daniel" and "Rachel"

Pray for Daniel and Rachel and their team, as the company they work with is in a state of transition. With new initiatives being rolled out to help align foreign missionaries with local believers, pray that their team will adapt to the changes without losing the identity they have formed over the years of working together. Pray that they would embrace what the Lord has planned for their region and for the lost they seek to reach.

Mully Children's Family

Please pray that the Lord would grant wisdom, favor, and excellence to the students entering Mully College as they continue in their summer internships. Pray also for protection and good health throughout their internships, and that each experience would be meaningful and formative, deepening their calling and strengthening their confidence. We also ask for prayer over the relationships they build with the supervisors and organizations hosting them, that they would be marked by grace, encouragement, and mutual respect.

Promise 686

Please pray for the second active Care Community that has been started within Christ Fellowship Church! Pray that this family thrives during this season of change and for the Lord to bless them.

Wycliffe Bible Translators

Pray for strength and mental fortitude for the Older Trees Cluster translation teams. Many of the translators study linguistics for years to be ready for the task of translation. Pray that the Word of God would make a transformative impact as the people in this region begin to have access to it in their heart languages.

North Fulton Community Charities

CFC will be gathering back to school supplies for elementary, middle, and high school students this month. Please pray that these items aide the students this year as they grow in their education. Please pray that they will grow to love Jesus during the year as well.

A Beacon of Hope

Please continue to pray for the staff of A Beacon of Hope as they navigate hard days with clients.

Camp Lighthouse

Four of CFC's Students served at Camp Lighthouse this summer as camp counselors. What a praise for children to be on mission for God! Please pray for the campers to grow in Christ during the upcoming months.
