North American Mission Board
A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia on August 10th, the strongest quake recorded in the country in the past decade. More than 1,600 homes collapsed. Officials have reported hundreds of deaths and thousands more injured. Many of these communities were already facing deep poverty before the ground shook, which will make recovery slower and harder. Please pray for those affect to see the light of Christ and for the safety of the volunteers bringing aid.
King's Hill Church
Pray for The Big Move! It is happening today, September 1, and follow-up on connections made today will continue throughout the month. Pray that many will come to know Jesus, and many will explore King's Hill and other local churches as they explore Christianity.
International Mission Board
Pray for the situation in Nepal as the country recovers from the recent flash floods that tore through the northern part of the country. Pray especially for local believers, ask God to give them wisdom and discernment as they care for the hurting. Pray that those entrusted with relief efforts will also have the opportunity to share the hope that is only found in Jesus Christ. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
IMB Missionaries "Daniel" and "Rachel"
Just as we have seen faithfulness with God providing space for our church to meet, Daniel and Rachel's church has seen God faithfully provide a space for their church to meet. They will be renting space from another, much older congregation. Pray that the details of this arrangement will work well and that Daniel and Rachel will continue to see God's faithfulness to their local church community.
Mully Children's Family
Pray for Mully Children's Family. That the Lord would show his favor with teachers, lecturers, supervisors, and fellow students, and that each learner will grow in both knowledge and godly character.
