Join us in praying for our church and our mission partners this month! We encourage all our Community Groups and Discipleship Groups to set some extra time aside at one meeting this month to pray.
Pray for our church:
- Pray through a portion of our church covenant
- Ask that God would enable us to embody this portion of our church covenant: We will support the testimony of our church by living godly lives, by loving our neighbors and by developing Christ-centered homes.
- Pray for our leaders
- For one of our staff members - Willie Padgett (Pastor for Corporate Worship)
- For one of our lay elders - Michael Harward
- For one of our deacons - Donna Kay Brown (Hospitality)
- Pray for The Jeremiah 29 Campaign
- Praise God for the closing on 10505 Jones Bridge Road in early March.
- Praise God for the $500,000 match for gifts given outside of CFC and pray that He would raise up those givers to complete the match.
- Ask that God would give us favor with the city of Johns Creek for the special use permit of the property.
- Pray that we would invest well in the next generation through our Kids and Student Ministries
Pray for our mission partners:
North American Mission Board

Overnight on May 16th, tornadoes tore through Missouri and Kentucky, claiming over 20 lives and causing major destruction. Send Relief is providing essential supplies, including food, clean drinking water, and flashlights, to hundreds of survivors. Their trained partners are ministering to people who’ve lost their homes and are in need of emergency shelter, blankets and clothing. Please continue to pray for these people.
King's Hill Church

Every spring, KHC launches their discipleship cohorts. Its apprenticeship-lab based discipleship that covers the Gospel, false gospels, Biblical literacy, spiritual disciplines, the local church, and mission. There have been 5 graduate classes, and this year is the largest incoming class at 43! We're excited to see what God does this semester.
International Mission Board

International Mission Board trustees approved 65 fully funded missionaries for appointment during their May 21st-22nd meeting near Richmond, Virginia. The missionaries approved for appointment will be recognized during a Sending Celebration on Tuesday, June 10th, at 10:08 a.m. CDT in conjunction with the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in Dallas.
IMB MISSIONARIES "DANIEL" AND "RACHEL"

We're excited that Christina Hipsley has agreed to step up as the team leader this year on the North Africa mission trip this October. She went on the trip last year and, in addition to being a night person like most Egyptians, she brought a spirit of peace and prayer which was a huge benefit to the team. Please pray for her to lead the team for God's glory.
Mully Children's Family

Please continue to pray for Craig Steuterman and Charley Malmquist as they serve MCF within the United States and on their travels to Kenya.
Promise 686

Pray that God would raise up groups of people within our community to become court appointed special advocates (CASA) volunteers so that every child has someone to speak up for them in court.
Wycliffe Bible Translators
Please continue to pray for our Wycliffe project, the Older Trees Cluster, as translators continue to translate God’s Word for South Asia.
North Fulton Community Charities

NFCC distributes more than $1.2 million in emergency financial assistance (rent, utilities, & other necessities) each year. Please continue to pray for individuals needing these services.
A Beacon of Hope

We collected many diapers and wipes for mothers in need last month. Please pray for the moms receiving these gifts.
CAMP LIGHTHOUSE

June marks the first month of Camp Lighthouse's amazing team of summer counselors arriving, and they’re filled with anticipation for all that’s ahead! Please pray for the counselors as they settle in, bond as a team, and begin training for a summer of meaningful ministry. Pray for wisdom and endurance for their leadership, unity among staff, safety throughout the summer, and open hearts for every camper who steps onto the grounds. Pray also for health, good weather, and moments of rest in the midst of the busyness.
